I love these passages with the soprano winds that you've built in... like a leitmotif... very beautiful, Sean.

I detect that you worked a bit on your pedal technique, and it has paid off... but in my experience, it takes 3 days of practice to erase 1 day of bad habit. You're gonna be working on this for awhile, but you're on your way!!

I like your thematic repetition; I think that you could explore more with themes in your improvisations.

Very nice improvisation, Vincent. Someday you'll wish that you could get back to the freedom you experience here! Your tonality is focused, but you are unafraid to experiment with dissonance; that's a good thing. Keep searching and reaching out!

Try taking your foot off of the sostenuto pedal briefly every time you change the bass note.

Do you compose choral works, also? If yes, who's your publisher?!
