About

Sean Suttikeeree (Dead Noise) spent the last six years in the lab perfecting his sound, a potent blend of heavy drums, melodic synths and pulsating basslines. Now he’s ready to unleash his brand of dark, grimy electro-hop on the Seattle hip-hop scene and beyond. His current release, a collaboration with DJ WD4D entitled “After School EP1,” serves as the perfect introduction to his singular sound. One of the founding members of the Mind Movers crew, Sean has produced tracks for a number of notable names in Seattle, including Gabriel Teodoros, Asun, Phreewill, Leland Jones, Rajni Eddins, and Jerm. He provided several beats for Khingz’ critically-acclaimed “From Slaveships to Spaceships” (Fresh Chopped Beats/MADK) and also supplied some sounds for the Ninjatune/Big Dada release “True Hollywood Squares,” the debut LP from Kail of LA’s Customer Service crew. In 2006, Sean placed second in the Project Blowed Beat Battle at Leimert Park, Los Angeles, thrilling judges Fat Jack, DJ Drez and June One. Drawing influence from artists like Jean-Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd and Alan Parsons Project, Sean composes rich, haunting sonic landscapes that demand repeated spins. This isn’t the work of your typical cut-and-paste beatmaker. Dead Noise is a “Producer” with a capital P, crafting densely-layered instrumentals that showcase hard-hitting drums, obscure samples and eerie, evocative melodies. When he’s not working the most interesting day-job of any musician in Seattle, Sean can be found DJing and performing live sets at LoFi and Grey Gallery. He’s currently working with the likes of Los Angeles MC Bizzart, Filkoe 176 and DJ introcut, while also crafting new material for Gabriel Teodoros, and Khingz. Check out “After School EP1” and keep your ears open for the latest from Dead Noise. No longer content to play the background, he’s not going to stop until his name is in the brain of every hip-hop head in Seattle.
