In the beginning, there was a boy. He was smart, pretty good looking, kind, semi athletic, but most of all, he was artistic and literally gifted. After a series of life altering events shaped his life around, he soon began tapping into this gift as a way to escape the problem plaguing his mind and heart. He adopted the name, DC King of Hearts.

Fast forward to present day. He has 6 projects under his belt, a Bachelor's degree in African American studies (working on his Master's in Cultural Studies) from Ohio University, and a growing following in the Southeastern Ohio area. Ever since he decided to escape his problems with his art, he has turned it into a mission. A mission to not only speak of the pain he had experienced growing up, but a mission to ease the pain of others who hear his music as an escape.

And as his creativity has evolved with every soundscape he puts his voice over, so as he. He is no longer the hurt boy anymore. He's grown into what he always dreamed of being.
