Apollo (David Apollo), Reigning as Sioux Falls, South Dakota’s only Metalstep/Dubstep producer is sure to please. Coming from a background of heavy metal, playing guitar in various bands, started experimenting with creating electronic music in 2009 with FL Studio, when it was still called Fruity Loops, creating simple songs and loops, Apollo’s music has since evolved into what it is today and has been featured on blogs such as Dubstep.net. Striving to produce a combination of Metal, and Dubstep, Apollo has managed to create a truely unique genre of its own he likes to call “Metalstep”. Some of Apollo’s influences range from old scool UK dubstep to newer artists such as Mantis and Getter. If you’ve ever participated at one of Apollo’s shows, you know how crowd oriented and interactive it is, definitely not something to miss.
