Formerly "Dj Xcite" Dylan Belanger aka Xtatikz, started teaching himself how to play guitar at the young age of ten, growing up in the small town of Kitimat, B.C., His love for the guitar eventually lead him down the road to writing his own music. Once graduated he ventured to Victoria, B.C., where he began his first steps into the electronic music industry. In the three years he lived in Victoria, he began DJ'ing around Vancouver island at afterhour clubs such as Sunset Room, and Sonica Afterhours where he obtained a one year residency. Also he has played/organized multiple indoor and outdoor parties around the island. His main focus is electro house and house music production, and he is strongly influenced by artists such as : Alex Mind, Ftampa, Darth & Vader, Feed Me, Apashe, Soulfix, Far Too Loud, Chrizz Luvly, Oliver $, Roger Sanchez, Parov Stellar...etc.After winning first place in a remix competition, the house label Vainglory Recordings recognized his talent and now he is regularily releasing house music under their label. Under his older alias “DjXcite” he released his first guitar collaboration with Glitch Hop artist Tantric Decks (Atomic Zoo Recordings) and it continued to climb the Beatport top 100 (Glitch Hop) chart almost reaching the top 10 in 2012. He hopes one day to share the stage with his inspiring artists and spends most of his time striving day by day to reach his goals in the musical world....Xcite Your Mind!!
