Daudi Bakari a.k.a Daz Naledge was born 19-11-1987 in Arusha-Tanzania at Kaloleni Hospital, father Bakari and mother Miriam. He went To Bahai nursery school then Arusha International School for primary level then to Arusha Secondary School. He also Study Information Technology (IT)
Daz didn’t go to school of music. He grew up musical in the studio trained with some of the legendary music producers in Tanzania.........short story
In the beginning Daz's cousin Hamisi Mnaro showed him how to us fruity loops program to make instrumentals. Coz they didn't have computer at his home. Daz used to go to his friend's internet cafe (VED Internet cafe) after school and trained him self to make beats, he went on and on even making underground tracks with Wakudis(Bigie Shirima), Wazawa Camp in the hoods of Majengo-Arusha were daz grew up. When Daz went to Dar es Salaam his friend Sande introduced him to Prof. Ludigo, The first music producer to train Daz. That was the time he knew about sampling music, After finishing his IT study in Dar es Salaam University Daz went back to Arusha and joined Watengwa as producer. With the talent of making beats Jcb couldn’t let it fade away. He introduced Daz to Ambross a.k.a Dunga, one of the heavy music producers in Tanzania from Kenya.Dunga trained Daz in recording, arranging, mixing and finalizing a track, and in the year 2010 he produced the album of Jcb ‘’Nakala Za Makalla Vol.1’’ and the album of Chindo “ Umbwa Mzee the Future” in the year 2011.Just like the snap Daz is heading to main stream producing songs like Online-Jcb ,Drop-GMF, Arusha pt.2 (remix), Raff Paper-Raff Mc, Na Hii ni kwa-Sight Moe ft. Wiseman, Mistakes-Ibra da Hustler.
He also participated in projects like Tunaweza Campaign (Violence Against Women) with Dunga, Barefoot Records and Haki Madini. Daz and Dunga produced two songs with Pamoja group.
Now he is working with UUKSA from France in East African Rise up Project.
Daz has self started his label DUB Music Ent. (Daudi Bakari’s Music Entertainment) which has now three signed artists Sight Moe, Ruff Mc and Wiseman. He is the founder of S.U.A Free stage events which takes place twice in a month at Kijenge ya Juu outside the studio of Watengwa Records…With the ability of using several music software like Fl studio, Logic, Cubase even playing live piano Daz Naledge makes his music with sample and composition.
