This time I've reworked the 1967 classic 'Perfidia', by the Queen of Rocksteady, Phyllis Dillon on Treasure Isle records. The usual Daytoner edits have been applied for easier mixing and a vintage break added to toughen a touch - "sock it to me baby"

Huge thanks to everyone for getting in touch about the 'Feel Like Jumping' edit and now in celebration of reaching the mini milestone of four figures of followers - here's my way of saying thank you to all of you who have tuned in so far - 1,000 free downloads.

I initially made this as a birthday present for a friends' 50th (as it's her favourite track and she wanted to hear what I'd do - I'm glad to report she was pleased by the way).

This edit was also sent to Spinforth for Scour 52 only to find a good mate had already submitted his track which used the same song - synchronicity strikes again (hence the little sample I've added to the intro).

Anyway, he made a fine job of it, so I thoroughly recommend you check out Tenoshi's monster version which includes great use of a Pharoahe Monche acapella and even live brass...
