Day Before Us is a musical project formed in 2010 by the classical trained musician Philippe B. The music encompasses the territory of melancholic minor key ambient. Slowly moving airs, diversified palette of acoustic harmonic colors and discreet experimentations characterize the intent of Day Before Us ambient euphony. Between 2011 and 2013 a few official releases in solo or in collaboration have been published signed on labels such as Rage in Eden, Petrogplyph Music, Cathedral Transmissions, MinimalRome). Day Before Us has also provided a few musical scores in the context of festival art films (Berlin art-fair Sony Center /Alba Fucens Roman amphitheatre, 2012). The forthcoming album has been planned for late June 2013 (Rage in Eden Records). The music explores the qualities of restful and spleen-like instrumental ambient based on quasi-orchestral sonorities and modeled minimalist sound structures. It will feature the work of the photographer Yulia Kazban.
