Since joinin soundcloud i've found some hidden gems and really talented artists who are untarnished by the slavish monotony of the soul crushing commercialisation of music as a commodity of intellectual property instead of music as an art form! Music is communication in it's rawest form and can convey any emotion you want it to. Bring music back to the people and away from the hands of the so called industry and money men who worry about the price of stocks n shares over content or artistic merit! i know that sounds pretentious but it's fackin true ya cunts! If the mainstream radio stations don't stop playin the same 12 songs all day for three months at a time i will go to radio 1 or capital f.m and cut out the toungue and brains of all their dj's as really, you wouldn't notice the difference in the output of the shows they churn out ! I have the capacity to actually like a good tune on the first listen , there is no need to imprint shit pop tunes on the nations subconciensce thru bought n paid for airplay of whats 'popular' Also, there is no risk of piracy bringin down big record companies, Churning out shite music in an attempt to copy the latest fad is what will be their downfall, oh aye n too many clean cut, wanna be x factor, non human beings who think the mighty dollar n fame is the reason for singin a song is a massive part in why profits are down for these mammoths of commerce, well i say good and good riddance! the sooner piracy dents their stranglehold on the nations airwaves the better! If only that would actually happen!
