Whats up everybody?

My name is David and music is the most important thing in my life. I've always been amazed by how music has the power to fulfill, manipulate or even create human emotion. And ever since I've been obsessed with the art of producing, being able to build a track from a vision - to recreate a feeling, an idea in another, musical, dimension.

When I was younger I taught myself how to play the piano. I'd accompany songs on the radio with it, and try to perform my favorite songs in different fashion.
As a teenager I then discovered trance music on Youtube which opened a whole new world to me. Having been listening mostly to bands like Linkin Park, Snow Patrol etc, I got introduced to the likes of Above&Beyond for example. Through their Anjunapeep label I slowly feel in love with the deeper shades of electronic music. And from there on my genre restrictions gradually disappeared.

Now my biggest heros in the world of sound are for example musicians like Andrew Bayer, Telefon Tel Aviv, Eric Prydz, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Guy J - but, in fact, the list is endless. I listen to Electronica, Classical, Ethereal, Melancholic, Techno, Pop, R&B and to everything in-between. I love music as long it has soul. Fuck all the money-making crap and the gold diggers - you make me sick.

I got Ableton Live in 2010 and since then I constantly tried to improve my production skills. I started to design most of my sounds on my own - especially drums & percussion sounds are usually 100% self-made (even though it takes ages).

My setup is: Laptop + Ableton 8, Novation 25 SL Mk2 (Midi Keyboard), Korg SP-250 BK (E-Piano), M-Audio Mictrotrack 2 (Field Recorder)

My ultimate goal is to be able to express myself in a true way through my own music. This however is the most ambitious target I can imagine, and I reckon that it will still take many years until I'm even near it. But I'll keep trying and experimenting and I won't compromise. Because music-wise I am an awfully selfish person.

The sounds that you can listen to on this page are mostly incomplete and impure, but some may already be enjoyable to you and me. At least I hope so.
