David Sum is a producer/DJ living in Toronto. David's interest in music started back in his home country of South Africa when he was only 15 years old. In 1999 he moved London ON, Canada. At the age of 16, he was introduced to Rebirth and shortly after that produced his first track. That year also he took it upon him to get involved in live sound. At the age of 17 he was given the oppurtunity to run a midi recording studio and later that year won a music award.

In 2007 he moved to Toronto and was introduced into the house music scene, and in 2008 he became friends with a couple of DJ's, who then taught him the basics of using CDJ's and a DJ mixer.

From there and until this day he has progressed significantly and still never ceases to amaze those around him, or those that catch that first glimpse of him bumping to his dirty grooves behind the decks. If you're looking for a good vibe and a great time, and you're ready to put your dancing shoes on, then don't delay to drop in for one of his performances. It's something not to be missed by anyone!
