This has been a long time coming, y'guys. I wrote 'Running Away' some two years ago for a super talented R&B singer/songwriter/producer called Robben Daniels.

He had already penned some lyrics to the beat by the time I got it and my mission was to transform it into a full-fledged pop anthem, which I reckon I did.

Long story short, Robben didn't end up doing anything with it, and I grew to love the song as my own - so here it is, presented to you by yours truly.

    'Running Away'
Written by David Lim, Robben Daniels (2010)
    Produced by Shadow Rose.

    Verse 1:

Here we go again, back to square one now,
We keep changing lanes but we're going no where.

    I'm in denial, I don't wanna see,
What's become of me and the love we had.

    Was so very sure,
Of the love we had before.
But all the lies you told,
I just can't take no more.

After all this time I see,
You were never right for me.
    And now I can't believe,
I let you do this to me.

    Chorus:

I don't really care for what you say,
I don't really care for what you do.
You can keep calling out my name,
But I'm never coming back to you. (x2)

    I'm running away...

    Verse 2:

No more sleepless nights trying to figure out,
Where we both went wrong and if I should hold on.

How many times can I take you back,
When you apologise, just to do it again?
