Davide Styloso
Davide Styloso was born in Switzerland on 31st December 1964 as a Capricorn. He is 44 years old, but claims to look 33.
He started DJ-ing when he was still in school, producing and collaborating with DJ Coxswain, a long time friend, for Sensual Rec. Studios.
Davide is THE party-animal; crazy, energetic, a real entertainer! His DJ style isn’t easy to categorize... he blends in electro with techno-house,
both the dirty and chill, sweaty and smooth.Davide D. DJ, as he was called back then in the eighties, realized his first successes in the art of
mixing at the tail end of the Italian-Disco era.This was the time of P. Lion, Raf & Kano, and the beginning of the Breakdance era, with the likes
of legendary Harbie Hangok, Grandmaster Flash, Bobby Brown leading the way.
In 1986, he shelved his turn tables to take care of his family. He would return to the scene however in 1998 under the name of DJ Davide Styloso.
With House Music already in his blood, his debut started off with electrifying intimate sets around the Neuchâtel bar scene. His music had an immediate
local success as he would soon start mixing for regional club and in 2002, his first shows. His biggest dream was to mix at the infamous, Mad Club in
Lausanne and in January 2004 his dream came true. Soon after he was mixing for the biggest clubs in Europe, such as the Space in Ibiza, the Baia Imperiale
in Riccione, and the Kaufleuten or Oxa in Zurich.
2005 was Davide’s breakthrough year as his popularity exploded. Producing in Spain, Ibiza, Moldavia, Germany, France, Italy, Ukraine and Switzerland he spun
regularly for the biggest clubs with the biggest labels; such as the Ministry of Sound, Park’in Place, Private Fiction, Purple Night. Styloso collaborated with
DJ’s Sarah Main, Nick Bridges, Eric Morillio, Mr. Mike, Paul Steven, Jamie Lewis and many others. In that same year, he also launches his own label, “Infected The House”.
Working as the artistic director with Label Event Factory, organizing the preparation of big events, Davide Styloso’s career is in full progression. In 2008, he even had
his own music float turning for the Zurich Streetparade.
Who knows what 2009 will reserve for him? He already has several tracks underway with various labels and produce the anthem of the mythical KaZantip festival in Ukraine
with many more to follow....
