Dave Wood has had a love for electronic music since he was very young. Listening Jean Michel Jarre and psychedelic trance from the radio made him want to learn more about music and he joined the local music school at the age of 8 to study accordion. After seeing a DJ talking on the television he knew instantly that playing records is the only thing in the life he wants to do. He contacted a local DJ who was regularly playing at school parties and got the possibility to learn DJing and more about electronic music. At the age of 16 he entered a DJ contest in Tallinn playing Techno and finished at the 4th place. After a friend of his played him Concord Dawn, Panacea and Rascal & Klone he switched to Drum & Bass. In 2006 he and a friend of his Harrison formed a duo called Conjured Mushrooms which got the Best Newcomer award at Estonian Drum & Bass awards in 2009. He and Harrison also had a party series in Estonia called Colourwheel and they have had Muffler and Cause 4 Concern play out there. For the last few years Dave Wood has tried to perfect his mixing skills and his mixing style. In his mixes he always tries to tell a story and put his vision of things from the real world to the language of music. He has shared the stage with the likes of Cause 4 Concern, Muffler, Current Value, Proket, Black Sun Empire, Miss Redflower, Mutated Forms, Audio, Counterstrike, Submerged and many more.
