I'm a tech house DJ and producer, originally from Teesside in the UK, now living in Brighton. I got my first pair of decks in '96 after being inspired by an awesome Sasha set at the Empire. I've got very wide tastes in music, and have been known to play sets of trip hop / breaks / drum and bass / house / techno and everything between over the years. I love gigs where I can play for hours and hours and play a lot of different kinds of music, but I'm also happy cracking out the industry standard two hours set of tech house. I love basslines and melodies and constructing very fluid sets. The tracks I play tend to have spacious arrangements so that I can layer them up and create something new that puts my own stamp on the tracks being played.
Some of the stuff I've done:
Residency @ Arc.
Playing for the 'Substance' and 'Virus' parties at the Arena.
Free parties as part of the Virus Collective and the subsequent club night. Guests included Billy Nasty, Chris Liberator, Rob Tissera, Pedro Delgardo.
Closing sets at the Riverside Festival
My own night 'Seismic' which I ran with Alan James.
Since moving to London I've played for the D-Late parties and I had a show on World Dance FM for two years.
After quitting the radio show I've mainly been focusing on production.
