David Birdsall Music. My name and the word attached to my name that describes something just as important. Music. It comes from a silence. Silence creates the music when you think about it. I respect music writers so much. To create from silence a sound that gives me goosebumps and makes me laugh or cry is just so incredible.
I only started to write music after being seriously ill. It just happened. I came out of hospital and something had switched on inside my brain. Other things had switched off, but I can live with that. So I now have hours of music to edit and master. I'm going to need some help soon. I have about 80 hours stored music to return to and finish.
At this moment in time I am writing music for a CD commissioned by GlenKens funding and I am writing music that I feel is not only culturally relevant to this area but also inspired by myths that are from the local area too. There is time to write more about me but that is later on, I am busy writing and editing. See ya later :-)
Braidenoch Music is now awaiting the first CD run. Artwork is finished and cd inlays being printed.
Some people belittle music. Especially those that do not write a note! They take the piss or miss completely the message held within music. The writer is often at al loss to finish pieces of music and also finds it difficult to know when to stop. Except for pop etc that is. Music en masse and for the masses. A lot of so called music now is soulless and lost. But to be inspired now that is an inspiration worth feeling.
Singers I like. Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bochelli, Barbara Streisand....back later :-)
