Hi my name is Dave (a k a Zaelon)
Based in Marlborough Wiltshire.
I used to be a mobile D J doing private functions Weddings, Birthday parties etc then a friend gave me a music program for my computer and said have fun,
so I played around with it for a while and produced some dance tracks, they were o k, I played them at the different functions I was attending and they went down pretty well, but it was the usual stuff that you hear everyday and I wanted something different.
I played around with it for awhile longer but gave it up. Then I was in a shop one day and whilst I was in there I heard some relaxation music it was the usual thing Panpipes etc, I asked the proprietor about the music with which he replied "I don't know how anybody can listen to it it's the usual thing wherever you go" with that in mind I decided to have another go, I got some wav files that I could use in the program.
After awhile I hit on the idea of listening to the sky at night (not the program) (at this point you might think I'm crazy but if you listen when it's very very quiet you can hear all sorts of sounds)
and started to produce the sounds that I could hear or as close as, after a couple of days I called round to the friend who had lent me the program and asked him would he listen to a couple of sound tracks, he played them and inquired where I got them from and when I said I had composed them and what I was doing his words were,
"go for it mate but I want a copy of your first album when it's done" (He composes Symphonic Rock music himself and is based in Manchester) and that folks is how all this came about.
I use Cubase sx 3 with Wave Files
