Wind Controller performance of a pastoral chamber piece scored for two flutes, two clarinets, and alto and tenor saxophones. I wrote this as part of a suite for the beautiful Scilly Isles, off the west of Cornwall. each movement is dedicated to a different island in the group. The island of Bryher is the most westerly, exposed to the Atlantic storms, hilly with long golden beaches, deep bays and lagoons, largely left to nature. In this piece you will hear the restless sea and a storm brewing before the sun emerges below the clouds at around 1.30 and sets in the vastness of the Atlantic.
