Having run a label, record store and working in digital music distribution I'm now running the UK SoundCloud office. Once upon a time I was one half of West Of Centre and DJ'ed across Europe, hosted radio shows and tried to make my own music. Now I enjoying listening to other people's music on SoundCloud from the comfort of my home! I also write a blog and host the OpenMusicMedia meetups in London.
lets put a vocal in
nice, like the way the beat builds in before getting it's 4/4 groove
"This is the most exciting time in history to be making music" - nice quote!
@minim: yep!
This is sublime. Which track is it?
Absolutely love this piece. I instantly recognised it when it came in. Would I have heard it before?
loving the smokey jazz club vibe here
the drumming really gets going here
really like this
@Tenorio: The sparse drums and bass give this track a surprising amount of depth. What is it?
MJ Cole "Sincere" (Nero Remix) > you dropped this at the Big Chill and it went off! Really loving this rework.
what's the name of this track?
Love when the track kicks back in. Really nice groove to keep the dancefloor bobbing.
Like these eerie atmospherics. Really set the mood.

Really like the drums here
The drummer was losing a bit of momentum at this point. But I watched him for nearly 15 mins and he was pretty consistently good.
@Forss: yeah, I think the siren really adds to this recording ;)
@fakesensations: lol, now you've got me listening to the Bugsy Malone OST - http://open.spotify.com/track/3gZoHbFt5W3HltDGcnbDrD
love the way it feels like all the separate parts of the track are really coming together at this point.
The piano intro reminds me a little of a Gonzales piece. I think it's this one - http://open.spotify.com/track/6S85LJLji4bjwKMCymDaJw

Love these uplifting stabs. Great summer vibe.
Would be great if you could add these to this group > http://soundcloud.com/groups/piano-recordings
Nice! You should add the track to this group on SoundCloud - http://soundcloud.com/groups/piano-recordings
Drama!
@Michelle Owen: even my version ;)
@nonine recordings: yeah, I was recording using the built in mic on the iPhone using the FiRe app. Interested in finding a good mic that works with iPhone.
wow, loved every minute of it!
what's this track? I love the atmospherics.
LMAO!
really liking the sparseness of this break.
reminds me a little of earlier Coldplay stuff.
Wow! I used to LOVE this record. Sounded equally good played at 33. Depending on how stoned your audience was ;)
here's a nice list of all the Oreo varieties - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oreo#Varieties
love when the original chorus kicks in
feeling Xmas-y already!
Brilliant title!
