About

datavase is a self-taught guitarist, keyboardist, drummer and composer. Started playing electric guitar and seriously composing instrumental music at the age of 16, and played electric guitar and drums in different bands (pop, rock and metal).

His musical compositions are created with the aim of make the listener imagine images emerging from the music. "Each listener makes it's own interpretation of the music. The title of the song is just a tip of what I was thinking when I composed the song" - datavase

Influenced by all kinds of music, but mainly (for this creations) Jan Hammer, Alan Parsons, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Jeff Wayne, Lars Falk, Tangerine Dream and the chipmusic scene.

As a big fan of retrocomputing, datavase still uses old computers for his compositions (Atari 520STe, Atari Falcon030 and Amstrad CPC6128).
