After growing tired of their individual DJ performances, Breaks & Enter residents Devastatin,Dave & Dominic Lennon (DJL) joined forces to bring forward the collaboration Datadex.
With a firm direction focused on production in both the original and remix realms Datadex aspire to bring something exclusive to their performances. Not ones to be bound to any specific genre Datadex maintain a keen interest in a wide variety of music often sampling or editing different genre's to fit their broken beat style club sets with the end result being a hard kicking bass heavy party sound guaranteed to please a dancefloor.
With their inspiration coming from live Dex & Fx acts such as Drummatic Twins, Stanton Warriors and Bitrok, Datadex aim to deliver a set loaded with both music and vocal samples layered to a tracklist of exclusive edits, bootlegs & club bombs.
Their first promo mix "Love To Edit" was featured on ID's Bass Music blog, and has been heard on radio's from the Gold Coast to Budapest and as far as Russia and most recently their re-rubs of Coburns - We Interupt this program & Passion Pitt - Little Secrets ( Jack Beats Remix ) being played on BBC1 Radio on Annie Nightingale's Show.With their exclusive edits & bootlegs receiving international support by artists such as Krafty Kuts, Lady Waks & Marten Hoerger
