DARREN'S BIOGRAPHY

Darren is a prolific songwriter with exceptional vocal talents. His early solo career saw him support many artists. He's had top ten hits in Ireland, and released 3 solo albums. His second, Live & Learn, had 3 top 30 US airplay hits seeing him nominated as Best Country Male Artist. The latest album Roadworks has a fine blend of ballads with rockier songs. Darren starred on Broadway, extensively touring the US, playing both the lead vocalist in Riverdance, and the lead vocalist/pianist in the Billy Joel musical Movin Out. He’s done more than 500 American Primetime TV appearances. He has regularly performed with The New York State of Mind band featuring The Billy Joel band with Darren on piano and lead vocals. His rendition of the US National Anthem made him a popular choice for sports events and he’s performed for an estimated 1.5 million people. He’s also performed for President and Mrs. Bush, and other dignitaries. In June 2007, Darren joined The High Kings. Their debut album and live DVD were very successful both sides of the Atlantic, achieving platinum status in Ireland. They released their second album, Memory Lane in February 2010 which also went platinum.
