This is a real slow burner but i dont agree its missing anything.
- DarkFoxDown on July 22, 2009 15:13
@new now: I was thinking of throwing in some old liners of movie quotes, what do you think?
-
@DarkFoxDown: That could work, watch out for the copywrite tho. And be sure to use something apt and obscure so as not to seem to 'sceney'

Tweaked the synth a little bit, exchanged one... still think it needs something.. to me.. it drags on.... not sure.. it might be fine, I created it while trying to make it a hybrid form of a soundscape.... id hate to shorten it, but if there is a good reason, please let me know.. suggestions guys? - Chronicles Artwork

Hmmmmm there is this old skinny puppy song called 'assimilate'.. If you were to make the beat like in that one, which was a simple 3 to the 4 to the floor kick, everything here might work a little more synchronistically
- DarkFoxDown on July 14, 2009 23:54
@hellscion: I used my Roland HandSonic10, Later on i did some stuff in Logic.
- DarkFoxDown on July 14, 2009 23:58
@DarkFoxDown: hm... i think for it to work with the guitars, i would hav to play with a 4 beat drumline.. maybe.. Do you think it needs to be simplified by much?
-
@DarkFoxDown: Not so much simplified as broken down. Play around with it.. take tracks out at certain parts. For the very beginning it might be a good idea to start simple though
- DarkFoxDown on July 15, 2009 00:18
@hellscion: I'll play with it when i get some time, i always knew it started too big but after a while it grew on me, thanks for the comment man, I'll play with it for sure because I do want to make a version 2. :)
-
@DarkFoxDown: Ah yeah, sometimes it'll be in the middle of a track & all of the sudden you reach a higher state of consciousness..

Sounds like a this was recorded in real-time
- DarkFoxDown on July 14, 2009 23:55
@hellscion: Those guitars are real, We had them hooked up to the laptop and used GarageBand. When I learend Logic I put it into that. Now I am thinking of recreating it entierly in Reason.
-
@DarkFoxDown: I didn't even notice them at first but after listening I think it sound cool if you brought them out a little more. Perhaps an EQ boost at 3khz
- DarkFoxDown on July 20, 2009 20:18
@hellscion: Worth a shot, it was a little of a pain, they're are 2 people on guitars on this track.
-
@DarkFoxDown: Yeah i know what you mean.. recording guitars on track is fucking hard

A song I made that went onto my past EP, Journey Into The Interior. It gained a lot of response, so after some heavy thought if I should or not, I decided to unveil it here. I am thinking of remaking it. I used GarageBand and Logic for this one, but I am thinking of remaking it in Reason to updat... - oniangelwing Artwork

just a thought but right here if you were to drop out the percussions or something before bringing in the pads.. it might add a little more effect to this transition. a timely pause..

Hmm... I think I can call this done... Had much help from Cowboy Shogun's Peta, and Candle Nine in this. Always open to suggestions before I let loose this album. I also renamed this track.
i hear good 80s ministry
