ASIA - not particularly the first region that comes to one's mind when the subject of music is raised.
Contrary to this pre-conceived view, an underbelly of talented individuals from parts of Indonesia, Phillipines, South Korea and Singapore has been brewing all this time, absorbing along their paths, a vast array of musical influences and ideas. The idea of this compilation has been keeping us folks here at Darker Than Wax and GOODNWS on our toes, as days were spent strategizing the best way forward. In the end, Assembly Point speaks for itself, being nothing more than an honest endeavour to gather and present to a greater geography, what moves us deep down in the belly.
