dare2disco (Kiez Beats / Raving Loony)

Fábio Fernandes is a Music Producer, Sound Engineer, DJ and Percussionist. “DARE2DISCO” is an alias he uses to sign his work on the ELECTRO/PUNKY/ACID melting pot which then results in a unique style of modern Electronic Club oriented music. Influenced by Detroit and German techno, British breakbeats, the Portuguese partying culture, African repetitive rythms and all the funk there is in punk, his creations are singular and never formula based.
Originally from Porto (Portugal), a city with an enormous music potential and one of the Portuguese most culturally dynamic cities, and after living 3 years in the UK, Fábio is currently based in Hamburg, Germany. His residencies in “Bar do Bruno”, a famous portuguese summer club and performances all over Portugal as well as in Germany and the UK, aligned with his production work created a growing buzz and reputation on the club scenne.
Among others, dare2disco worked alongside Futureflashs (with whom he has a regular collaboration) or so called friend, as well as remixes for and from Azzido da Bass, SpekrFreks, Dirty Disco Youth, Teenage Mutants, Valerna, Gustavo Brito, Data Mc & Nhan and Taan, X-ettl, Bilderbuch, Frag Maddin, No Hesitation, Chris Krawall, No-Fi Riots, The Phantom’s Revenge, Bass Ventura, Punx Soundcheck, and many other artists, having released on labels such as Kiez Beats (DE), Lektroluv (BE), Straight Up!/Big Alliance (USA), or Raving Loony Records (DE).
