Danza Macabra PERSONA
‘The state where separation of good and evil does not exist, is clearly called Paradise.’
Danza Macabra presents a new path in electronic music landscape, subtly combining the fresh ideas of Edin Cuturic and Martin Rojnik. Together they have released to major labels as dARKROOM Dubs, Tanzbar, Travelling Soul Recordings, and played around the world for the last 2 years (Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Italy,...), however they decided that more needs to be done. With their record label Danza Macabra Records they are releasing electronic music, subtly combining the musical production techniques and wide range of musical influences of Danza Macabra as well as renown music producers (Matthias Vogt, Pascal Feos, Todd Bodine, Patrick Zigon, Axel Bartsch, SCSI-9, Himan, Patlac, Cosmic Cowboys, Mihai Popoviciu, Marko Nastič and others) and musicians into a fresh and creative production. They have been inseparable and have managed to create a recognizable trademark, as well as an impressive distinct personality and touch, over general electronic music essence and depth.
Danza Macabra BEHIND THE MASK
"but i'm only interested in being able to love the world, not to despise it, not to hate it, to be able to look upon it and me and all things with love and admiration and great respect." Hesse, Siddharta
Exuberant and full of love we stroll through the woods, gaze at the stars and seek the answers as to our roles on planet Earth. Fearlessly we march towards our goal, the small dot smiling mischievously in the distance. Our step is becoming increasingly decisive, for we are certain we are on the right path. Of course, there is no single path, there are only endless options and all are equally plausible. Every shadow walks along its own path, dancing towards the smiling dot. We do not feel like victors, instead we feel that we are the masters of our minds, able to control our senses, we are the oppressors of futile, harmful emotions, the enemies of human ignorance, greed, hunger for power and careless behaviour shown towards nature. We move around time and space like scenery through weightless space. We want to share happiness and return smiles onto the faces, even if merely for one moment. Loving all living beings and not scorning them. Observing them without judgement, without an opinion, with a smile on our lips.
Danza Macabra SOUND, WORD and IMAGE
'There is no objective world. The world is what we think of it.'
Danza Macabra provides an authentic journey into a landscape of sound, a virtual world, where everything is possible. Sound, image and word merge into one and become a true messenger. Only when the three of them are merged to form the perfect combination do they truly become Danza Macabra.
Danza Macabra forms a creative space in which the use of an individual's body transcends borders and connects with the community through the perception of music and the movements of the body. On the path of searching for its inner self, Danza Macabra takes a creative approach in combining its own definition of sound, visuals and words.
