My earliest memorys music wise are other than trying to breakdance with me dad
round the frontroom to his electro compilations, would be buying coldcut/bomb the bass/m.a.r.s singles.
After that I got bang into the rave thing going on. Apart from the completely nutty hardcore and gabba, and getting completely wasted far more than I should have done.
The points I remeber that have stuck are espeacialy:
Colin Dale and Colin Favour, There shows on (an early) KissFM showed a young me alot more depth to the
dance music I love aswell as introducing me to other artists that are still at the forefront of the game today.
I appreciate and have a good jiggle to most genres but most of time I play techno, house, electro (the dirtier side) and when the mood takes me, hardhouse.
I had a brief spell of taking it all a bit to seriously for a while, which resulted in having a record shop in Margate High Street for a few months in 2000. The upshot of which (apart from a few debts and a constant headache) Was ending up with a pair of Technics 1210's and a large amount of records : )
Since then Ive got alot of pleasure from playing at house partys,clubs and pubs and on ocassions
the great outdoors : )
