About
I come from a small town in Southeast Missouri and grew up listening to the popular music of the 60’s and 70’s. In high school I spun records as a DJ, then after joining my first band while attending college, I began to cut my teeth as a songwriter. Rock, country, and pop are my primary genre, but I cover a variety of styles within. I try to write songs with meaning, but I don’t take myself too seriously. I’m not afraid to let the kid out and have some fun with my craft!
From 1984 to 2005 I worked primarily in the commercial software industry for the likes of Informix, Above All Software, and Microsoft. A disabling condition brought an end to my software career, but I refused to let it bring and end to me. I have a small recording studio that I use primarily for my own material, but I sometimes do recording work for others, as well as co-writes and lyricist for hire.
