    "Dan Miracle - Breakin' Barriers"

The final free Dan Miracle MP3 download for July 2012 is probably my most experimental tune ever: over 9 minutes of electronic musical madness

Recorded in 2003 (after being majorly inspired by DJs and artists such as Goldie, Equinox, Breakage, 0=0, Chris Inperspective, Fracture & Neptune, Krust and of course, DJ Bailey at the time), this musical odyssey came about as the result of attending a Metalheadz Sunday Session in August 2003.

Having listened to an amazing track selection from Goldie that very night (including hearing Goldie's own 'Say You Love Me' alongside Dillinja's 'Fluid'), I rushed home from the club as soon as the night as over, desperate to lay down some of my own ideas.

Arriving home around 3:30am, I quickly fired up the sequencer, opened up my 'perfectly organised sample library' and began chopping like mad…

…eventually I crashed out (probably on the keyboard itself at around 8:30am)

I awoke the next afternoon and listened to what I had made; THIS was (somehow) the result.

One take, no polishing (hence the ridiculous limiting on the master mixdown)

    So there.

Enough freebies for now, but plenty more coming in August! (and eventually, new music in September)
