This song is trying to experience another person's point of view — who I disagree with.

Mark - very interesting. I like that this can be applied to the layers of the self (and false self)! I really struggled with capturing something intensely negative in an artful way.
Hi Daniel,
What came through for me was in such a strong way's here is conversations with the shadow self..
A healthy person is sitting in a well lit room and has no physical challenges. Yet there mind has them believing they sit in total darkness based on point's of view from the past.
There is a duality in the ways many hold relationships with self that are truthful and honest. Yet we have relationships with others and a split occurs. Communication -Relationships are now based on how the filter of the mind regards the experience in the moment based on the past.
We have conversations ,relationships with others based on the truth we see in the mirror and how we hold the experience. Not always the truth but are truth..
Happiness quality love in life relationships often gets based on who's really in charge.. The monster is the unloving relationship with the reflection of self ....The one with the tightest gaze on the mirror. Refusing to view the reflection with compassionate eyes.. And that is how they hold view and experience the world..
Well don't know if this is what you were looking for but I'm working with several queer men and there speed use where the monster is not the drug.. it's painful to watch them struggle labeling the monster in so many ways ... when the monster is how they hold the relationship with themselves.
Thanks for helping me process my feelings this morning.. Big Hug to ya, Mark
