Dani Drops is a Montreal based DJ spinning mostly minimal, deep and tech house. She's been at it since she became the trusted operator of the party 3-disc changer in the 6th grade, but it wasn't until she laid her hands on a pair of Pioneer CDJ-200s that she started mixing house and techno (also trance, hip hop, lounge and some genres we'd rather forget).
By 2008 Dani was turning heads in Montreal's club scene. She landed her first residency at Alkemista where she united with Sweidan to form the Head Nodders duo, spinning a signature smooth and nasty blend of tech house, deep house and groovy minimal. With continuing education from the schools of Parking, and Piknic Electronik, and armed with a keen instinct for high quality dance-floor tracks and knack for creative risk, Dani has been dropping the beats from Montreal's hottest clubs (Stereo, Salon Daome, U.N., Belmont, Velvet, Karma, Opera, Circus Afterhours) to its coldest rave (Igloofest).
As for 2011: Dani Drops will attempt to breach the wonderful world of production. Hmm...
