Born and raised in the outskirts of Vancouver, 26 year old singer/songwriter Dan Hudson, can often be found playing his original acoustic melodies anywhere from coffee shops to neighborhood pubs.

In the summer of 2008, his late uncle, lifelong musician, Ron Stewart, passed along the gift of song which evoked a new found passion. With a heavy influence by Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, Dan's musical vision took shape into something he could call his own. Melodic, raw, real, and most of all, meaningful. To him lyrics are just as important as the melody; and neither are willing to be sacrificed.

Although better known for his group efforts in the local band "Waiting for Sunday" Dan's ambitions have always allowed him to keep his solo career in focus.

Today Dan can be found recording his first indie-acoustic album with Mircea Tracke (WFS bassist/engineer/producer) titled "I know, I know...". It's foreseen to be a full-length feature that captures the essence of a raw studio performance scheduled for release sometime late in 2011.
