A Doepfer A-100 mini system showed up via eBay last week. On Sunday I turned it on and recorded what it made. Pretty simple stuff, this, as the entire kit is made up of ten modules, and I've never used one of these things. This is mostly the a145 LFO modulating the a110 VCO, the a120 LPF and the a140 ADSR, and turning some knobs. I'm really good so far at making it sound like a car alarm. The VCA has a dirty pot or a loose jack or something that was causing quite a lot of hum in the output. I'm adding Volta to the mix next week and a few more modules soon. I can't wait to learn how to sequence this thing.
