92 Plays1 Comment sequenced mp3This is all in Reaktor. Used a sequencer from the NI User Library called 'Scale Step SEQ 16,' driving the Carbon2 synth, and doodling the knobs in both. The first 20 seconds or so were used as a soundtrack here (Vimeo). - seven roscoe rileys Artwork

A short thing made for a video (Vimeo). It's arranged in Ableton Live, the synth is Sonic Charge's Synplant, and the numbers came from a Speak & Spell. "Four" and "Six" are from somewhere else, actually, but I don't remember where. - 090918: ukulele & guitar Artwork

123 Plays2 Comments1 Favoriting acoustic mp3Well, how about something completely different? One ukulele, one guitar, six pilsners, Ableton Live (ping pong delay, flanger, some Reaktor Banaan Electrique), sampled tympani, tambourine and crash cymbal. Recorded via an Audio Technica 2035 mic into my MOTU Ultralite in my anything but soundpro... - m_oduler Artwork

Finally, something new. Really interested in step sequencing and pretending my software is a modular synth. I attached Reaktor's Carbon synth to a 16-step sequencer and let it go for about five minutes. The ensemble also has SInebeats playing the drums, all mixed in a 4ch mixer and recorded to Re... voiceboing Uploaded by dance robot dance Start following Send a message on May 27, 2009 18:46
184 Plays29 Downloads mp3Goes along with the previous track, "voicebom." An early thing made with Reason, used a sample of my voice for most of the sounds including the springy bass sound. The rest was made with the NN-XT and samples in Reason.voicebom Uploaded by dance robot dance Start following Send a message on May 27, 2009 18:44

Another soundtrack. My kids helped build a playground at a local school. I had a camera set-up to film the event as a stop-motion time lapse thing. I needed the music to feel busy busy busy but also playful what with the playground and all. I found an old clip I'd made in Ableton Live that see... - hanginabout Artwork

@enntoxx: Hey thanks for digging this. A little cooler and more mellow than what I normally make.

Made as a soundtrack for a meditation on snow that I recorded in February 2008. The electric piano is using the "Electric" synth in Ableton Live, and the reverby thing is from running that loop through a Kaoss Pad. - drive the first Artwork

One of the first things I made in Reason, back in 2003. It's all on one Malström. This was originally created to be the soundtrack for an animation I was working on. It got replaced, eventually. Later, it was rearranged and found a home following my kid around one afternoon on his bicycle as "dri... - drive the second Artwork

This is the second version of "Drive." Using Reason's Subtractor and, I believe, Malstrom for the bell sound.

When I was 12, I used to bug the guys at the music store by hanging around the synth room messing with the Moogs for hours. Later, I fell for the likes of Gary Numan, Kraftwerk, Vince Clarke, Depeche Mode, and yes, Duran Duran. Fast forward to 2003 when a colleague showed me Reason v2.5. When he flipped around to the cables, I was sold. Now it's Solvent, Autechre, ISAN, Mouse on Mars, Lali Puna and Radiohead that make me go.
Nice, the bell-like sounds are as if slightly detuned or heavily chorused...gives an Alien sort of feel...
