About
Welcome my friends.
Currently working on "Ryan," a happy tune named after one of my daughters. I have also been working on a series of soundtracks for custom Tomb Raider levels. I'm honored to be collaborating with two master "trle" level builders (and my long-time personal favorites): Clara and Masha. I'll soon start working on some analog and FM synth music that will be in the game music genre. I'm really looking forward to using genius Urs Heckmann's ground-breaking VA synth Diva more on that.
My tunes are all original and almost all synthesizer. It's common for people to think I play guitar, so let me say again there is no guitar on any of my pieces - that's all synthesizer. I play many kinds of music, but I'm especially interested in improvisation and usually create my own sounds for leads, basses, etc. I play most of the music on my keyboards the "old fashioned" way, though I do some programming, editing and use arpeggiators, etc. My synth programming is very old school - my patches tend toward simple, playable and expressive. These days, most of my drum tracks are programmed using Stylus RMX.
I play keyboards by Korg, Alesis and Novation, and I use software by U-He, Spectrasonics, Native Instruments, iZotope and Cakewalk.
My disability has been interfering more and more with my music (and everything else), but though it takes a lot more effort and especially time to complete anything, I will never, ever stop making music again if I can help it.
SoundCloud Ettiquette: if I'm not following you, please don't send me tracks. Take the time to listen to and comment on other's music. Open hearts and minds find friends on SoundCloud.
Thanks for stopping by. Please leave the door open.
