Kidkanevil is a fantastic producer from the UK who deserves acclaims for his blend of unusual sound sources and artful beats. I did a remix of his Yokai and tried to find something else there-in, but mindful of the creative imperative built in. Basho Basho is the name of the LP, and this remix wasn't widely available, I do hope it inspires some questing.

This goes pretty much out of sync, but that build-up starting from an impressive little beather (the vocals and the chords!) in 1:40 is pure class. I hear a small, yet intriguing harp-gliss around 2:10. Pretty suprising, but it's such a joyful, delicate little moment before the nostalgic (in my opinion) synth comes back.
