Mit DADA ATTACK aka Saulo Pais geht die brasilianische Herbstoffensive bei KOMPAKT in die nächste Runde! Saulo ist kolportierterweise so etwas wie der brasilianische Aphex Twin. Nun ja, weniger musikalisch betrachtet, als seine unorthodoxe technische Herangehensweise betreffend. Auch er findet grosse Lust darin, Synthesizer und Drummachines aufzuschrauben und mit dem Lötkolben zu bearbeiten. Das ist für Saulo Pais selbstverständlicher Teil des Sounddesignes. Überhaupt, Design ist für ihn eine interdisziplinäre Grösse, an der er sich auch als Architekt, Maler und Filmemacher abarbeitet.
