D-R-U-N-K, Marseille "I Dont Need To Sleep" (D-R-U-N-K Robot Remix)

‘I Dont Need To Sleep’, is a twisted, haunting excursion into the darker realms of electro as the music spirals beyond the stratosphere anchored by a hypnotic analogue driven pulse. Oly Grasset (D-R-U-N-K) explains, “It's about a computer speech synthesizer female voice who realises that she sounds human but doesn't need anything us humans need, so she demonstrates to us how impossible life will be if we didn't sleep, eat, drink and so on. Robot poetry.”

D-R-U-N-K is the solo project of the rebellious French contemporary sound innovator, Oly Grasset. He is widely known in the music industry as the “drunk” half of the industrial techno duo MOTOR. His debut EP “Ghetto” is out now with support from Fukkk Offf, Modek, T.Raumschmiere and Mr. Jones.
Since starting D-R-U-N-K (FR) late 2011, he has remixed and collaborated with The Micronauts, Marseille, Super Super, Eskimo Twins, Volatile, Monsters Of Rave, DoctR, and Mekon, with more releases and remixes scheduled for this year.
