Danny Maiden or better known as Dboy is a professional Hip Hop, Soul and RnB producer. Born and raised in Perth Western Australia.
A talented drummer since the age of 5 he has played in school bands and filled in his dad’s band. Danny grew up listing to Hip Hop and Rap and his favourite rap artist was 2pac and his most influenced idol was Michael Jackson. Having heard “The way you make me feel” by Michael Jackson and “California Love” produced by Dr Dre, Danny knew that he wanted to be a part of Music.
Early 2009 Danny got into producing music on his computer using Fruity Loops just messing around making beats for himself. He didn’t take it seriously until he went and bought the Native Instruments Maschine and a keyboard and onward from there it started to grow.
During the years 2010 - 2011 Danny was trying to craft a style of his own, listening to his idols, Dr Dre, DJ Quik, Swizz Beatz, Erick Sermon Ryan Leslie, Teddy Reiley Quincy Jones and a lot more, referencing from a lot of information using that to his advantage and finally developing his own style.
Making beats for competitions gained a lot of exposure for Danny not only in Australia but around the world particularly Nashville and Los Angeles. He got in contact with a underground rapper called J.D in Nashville which then led him to make a beat for him.
From there he gained a lot of interest from DJ/Producer Tyson Willert in Los Angeles, furthermore he was signed and bridged to work with more notable underground rappers.
He is currently producing tracks for Rapper “None Other” hailing from Los Angeles, Mike Champion a Soul singer from Sydney Australia, and a lot more artists. Sky is the limit for this young producer. You can contact Danny via these social websites
