Cut the Kids are a brand spanking new 3 piece indie/electro conglomerate hailing from the thriving metropolis that is Bury.
It's not a town best known for it's music (other than Elbow although they often deny that they're from Bury and argue instead that they're from the infinitely cooler city of Manchester). But that aside, Cut the Kids are a genuinely quite exciting band amidst the fog of uninteresting metalcore and drab Arctic Monkeys tribute acts that pollute pubs and clubs across the nation.
It's easy to compare any band who have a lead singer with a deep voice to Joy Division or The Editors, but Cut the Kids who cite Delphic, M83 and The XX as some of their main influences seem to be moving the sound on and taking that baritone soul to new and interesting places.
