THE ORIGINS
.
CUT-EXPRESS © was created in 1999 by Meric van Helsing (myself), and worked first in background music creation for TV-documentary and publicity spots.

AT THE BEGINNING
.
In 2003, CUT-EXPRESS © begun experience live music on stage with his rock group: W.P.O.D [white punks on dope]. Strongly influenced by: Nina Hagen Band, Spliff, Sex Pistols, AC-DC, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis. The group separate, and CUT-EXPRESS © starts to produce its first productions in: Electro, House, and Trance music.

FIRST RELEASES

In 2004, CUT-EXPRESS © become: CUT-EXPRESS © Music Productions. A small commercial success take place with the album: 2B [to be] with approx.: 3500 copies sold to public. The album was entirely produced with Steinberg’s Cubase © & real instruments.

EMERGENCY

In September 2011, CUT-EXPRESS © introduce his new Rock band formation: EMERGENCY, performing the EP/Singles: Wallstreet Kingpins, Waiting for the moon, Fighting with Ghosts, Taken! Smoke on the water (Turn Up Make It.Mix), One step Behind, and other tracks for the upcoming album(s): NO GRAVITY, YOU CUT ME ROCKIN, BULLET TIME…

DJ-CYBERNETIC SOULS

In November 2011, CUT-EXPRESS © introduce: DJ-CYBERNETIC SOULS, who will be in charge to produce approx. 45 Remix/Remake & Mash-Up versions from the late 60s until now. The first Mash-Up/Remix was: SMOKE ON THE WATER (time-up, make-it.mix), Feat. Deep Purples legendary: SMOKE ON THE WATER guitar riff as the track intro. The song was performed live in London, with the CUT-EXPRESS band EMERGENCY & DJ-Cybernetic Souls. Followed by: BEYOND SIRIUS (feat. Alan Parsons Project-1982). Actually in work are: BAKER STREET (Gerry Rafferty), SEX & DRUGS & ROCK’N’ROLL (Ian Dury & the Blockheads), BLOCKBUSTER (The Sweet), I’M NOT IN LOVE (10-CC)…

DEPARTMENT OF JAZZTICE

Creation of our Jazz-Funk formation: DEPARTMENT OF JAZZTICE. First success with the EP/Single production: GIGA-HERTZ FUNK! First introduction into public during an open-air concert, with THE NIGHTFLY (Midnight Drive). Maxi EP/Single production in work (5-tracks), Album version in work for January 2013.

CUT-EXPRESS © Music Productions, has redesigned its digital productions with an own engineered sound concept, who was recently tested, in the latest Jazz-Funk Productions. The so called: "music-in-music" style combines Analog & Digital Recording, which introduces our special developed "Ultra-Wide-Range" Concept (U.W.R - Concept ©), allowing within the Pre-Mastering-Process, to create a virtually infinity stereo field, which can be manually panned - or modulated, by using presets with added effect-lines (phaser, reverb, echo, 8-bit fluctuation, noise gate, compressor or distortion). Otherwise, CUT-EXPRESS works with a DJ, who is in charge of the background monitoring in live and studio recording, such as: FX-parts (special sound effects), additional vocals, or a second digital drum support.
