"Mystery of the One" is my humble attempt at creating a body of works which inspire mystical experience. There is such great mystery that surrounds us. Who are we? Why are we here? What is the source that animates us, that breaths us? These questions are not easily understood or answered through spoken language and it is usually the case that answers point to a feeling or realization that one must come to through experience. In my own experience I have found music to be a language which much better excites an experience of the beyond, a language which much better conveys truths which are not as apparent in words. In short, I want to give you something that speaks to my heart in hopes that it will also speak to yours.

"Mystery of the One" is the oldest track on the album and was written about two and a half years ago. I remember getting really excited about it and staying up extra late to get the guitar parts right. I was so inspired by the mystery I felt in writing that song that I decided I wanted to create an album based around that feeling. Each of the tracks explores a different facet of my fascination with creation.
