Phace - Hotrock (Krystal remix)
KRYSTɅL on February 12, 2013 18:26
Born in May 1987, Krystal is the Polish Drum'n'Bass producer (particularly neurofunk). He started his journey in music yet in high school as the bassist for the alternative rock band. The project disbanded after couple years of fine play and left only few unfinished demo recordings, in very early state of production. In that time, he has gained interest in music production and started focusing in that direction. Then, his cousin shown him the “Moonway Renegade” piece by Noisia and Mayhem, and that turned him remarkably towards the D'n'B. That was by year 2009 and since then, he has been trying to reproduce the astonishing sound of neurofunk tracks. Beginning the 2011 it has become more a reality and finally, he gave up the path of the rock-star for electronic music only. That year was important in the most part as he was able to gain most of his home studio assets along with graduation in studies of business and management on the University of Warsaw. At the beginning of 2012 he decided to clean up his record and come out as “Krystal” with the first release – “Blood Vessel” EP, under Dephunked Recordings. Since then he is working on more classic neurofunk sounds opposing to nowadays “bombardment of plastic” popularity. He is mainly influenced by first releases of Phace, Noisia and later by Billain along with variety of other styles of music.
