Since first securing gigs at Barsoma in 2008, this year has seen him quickly become a worthy regular at the venue. With an eclectic array of tunes stretching from funky down-tempo lounge and booty-shaking tech house, to quirky minimal, cosmic disco and rolling techno, Chris is a vital player in ensuring the dance floor is the place to be. Peart’s thoughts on his own style are probably the best indication as to why he’s been chosen to support a number of international guests at Barsoma, including Roland Appel, Audiofly, Luca Bacchetti, Trus’me, Shonky and the Italoboys. Insisting on keeping things fresh and loving a great party, his insight and drive to excel both as DJ and a promoter are a great asset to the Brisbane nightlife.
