The concept…
The Creative Control Coalition (CCC) is a new, innovative not-for-profit
organisation dedicated to representing, connecting and supporting
independent creative organisations and individuals in order to encourage
and nurture collaborative work for the benefit of all involved.
The shared mission of the coalition is to work together and grow stronger in
order to keep on loving what we do so that we can keep on doing what we
love. Artists and labels who make up the CCC are concerned with creating,
promoting and selling their work but have made an informed decision to do
this independently of the confines and compromises that relinquishing
creative control of their work would inevitably bring.

The event…
The CCC Launch party on Saturday 19th June 2010 introduces the concept
with a one-night festival featuring live acts, DJs and producers bringing their
unique live underground sounds to the capital. Everything from twisted bass
driven vibes, uplifting beats, soul, hiphop, jazz, funk to afro-rock and more.
The event features a diverse program of artists, bands, DJ’s and MC’s programmed
by Jenny Zienau (CCC founder/Ruff Language) and Jay Scarlett
(Ubeat/Ampsoul) that aims to represent the quality music being released
on independent labels in London right now.

CCC is a mini-festival with a purpose: to promote and showcase 15 independent
artists/producers/labels and celebrate creative control and the
beginning of a new movement.

Live acts and DJs on the night include:
Amalgamation of Soundz (Axed Productions)
Chima Anya (Phoenix)
Colonel Red (Ruff Language)
