Evan Valencia began computer-based recording of instruments, vocals, and samples in 1999, and visited his first outdoor parties at age 17. Armed with computer-based digital audio workstations (DAWs), a Virus B and a hoard of samples, he created a variety of tunes over the next decade.
Darren Pagano began using DAWs and other software around 2001 to begin audio editing, mixing, and mashing of electronic music. In 2003, he worked with Houston-based promoter and DJ, Sean Carnahan while the San Francisco-based promotional specialist "Spundae Houston” was in operation.
