Count Clockwork are an electronic duo from the north of Scotland, consisting of Louis Buick (Producer/DJ) and Khalid Hussain (DJ)

Formed in April 2011 the duo played small gigs in their hometown, Inverness, mainly at Cake Nightclub where they held their first EP launch party just after being signed to Parisian label, CHRecords. In August of 2011 they played Belladrum Festival, playing a total of 3 times over the weekend, this is where Marty Bell (Founder of WE OWN) spotted them, reaching out to offer a trial gig in one of his club nights - That trial run was a major success and in September of 2011, Count Clockwork moved their base to Edinburgh, since then they have secured a monthly slot at Candyboxx (now one of the biggest student club nights in the city). It was only December of that year that things evolved rapidly as they were signed to Touche Records, and due to release their upcoming EP with them. During that month support slots were grabbed for Dem Slackers, Dillon Francis, Mele and Brenmar

2012 has just begun and already Count Clockwork have made a bigger name for themselves, supporting the likes of Fake Blood and Annie Mac, two huge names in today's music industry. They look to officially release the 'Troika EP' under Touche Records and they have been asked to play Rockness alongside major acts, such as Deadmau5 and Justice, both who have been huge inspirations to them. They both describe this opportunity as a 'dream' and they extend their thanks to the boys at WE OWN for their continuing support.

Described as the most exciting thing to come out of the Highlands, the future looks very bright.
