I'm a musician, sound designer and producer from belgium. Rightnow, my portfolio could only be described as "certain endeavours in the music industry", like, Remixes for a chineese american dance babe, created a few sets of patches that brought film soundtrack creating to the access virus TI and my most epic work I've done is a symphonic/electronic sound track for a local theatre group. (epic, that is: from my perspective, because I've put lots of musicality and effort into this one: not because it's known well).

I also create game music which has some use in the trackmania (racing game) comunity and I'm motivated to create tracks of this type now and then: to be able to up my amount of VIRTUAL money that I earn there. It's a beginning. Cause this game music allows me to express myself in many different styles. Asian, rock, metal, dream, electronica: and musch more. Cause I like to be versatile and not really remain in the same place for a long time.

Another aspect of my music making is a mix of new age, ballads, ambient and maybe some trance now and then.

I'm not ready yet to share all my tracks here. What I DO think is that soundcloud is what the doctor ordered as a matter of putting up an online "base of operations" for my master files. This is a very unique site that allows my music to become mobile in a way that it can be branched out to different aspects of the web and possibly my own online store. (if the developers want to take it this far).

When all my past songs are remixed in a way I feel I want them to be, and songs that I want to work on are ready to be published, I'll surely want to manage to let everyone audition these wave files and comment on them. Rightnow I'm working on too much at the same time. And I also want to build a private library first. Some tracks are available already. And I'll add more in the future.

So to clarify something: River|8 is the name I use when I make game music and music that has vocals from a singer. Cosmic Dreamer is usually the name I keep using to describe "myself". River|8 is the project, Cosmic DReamer is the person behind the project. I have alot of "Cosmic Dreamer" songs from earlier years but as I remix them I'd rather want them to be known as made by "River|8".
