    Darker Delilah, Darker.

"Quit being so hard on yourself" you told me,
You think that you love me, only you don't know you're free
Cause people will love you, but you gotta believe that love is true,
and I have a hard time trusting myself or to pretend.
And i've since learned that people see for what they yearn, and it's a
pretty short shot to call that your friend.

These darkest days they will find me, just as long as I keep running
So don't wave your love around me, I've got everything I need.

As I got older my head grew with my heart,
and they both conspired to disbelieve everything they saw
Sometimes all I can touch is the things that I've done and giving only
    that's enough to resent,
And what do you do, when the man who moves in the mirror only cares
    about just that?

These darkest days they will find me, just as long as I keep running
So don't wave your love around me, I've got everything I need.

The snow came with Heaven, yeah I though I sensed relief,
But I knew any angel would be equipped to spot a thief
And before I could spit, I made my quick exit, and I left her holding my heart,
And the sky began to cry the flakes hid my steps. My feet sang a song
    of remorse and regret,
The good news is I don't fear to forget.

These darkest days they will find me, just as long as I keep running
So don't wave your love around me, I've got everything I need.
