Corwood Manual is an electronic homerecording playground for Andreas Bonkowski who also plays in Siva., I Might Be Wrong and SDNMT. Since 2005 he records late at night in a small flat in the heart of Berlin, Germany, remixes artists like Jamie Lidell, Caribou, EF, 65daysofstatic and Tender Forever and creates little bits and pieces for his own amusement. And as chips and hands collide, they begin to shape. Recording, programming and searching. It’s all about noises, bleeps, cuts, tape recorders, vocal cords and the usage of old and broken instruments. To keep the chips alive and to write a personal manual. About making ears ring and hearts beat in time with rhythm. Klick klick klack.
